September 1: Labor Day Weekend

Have been writing to keep away the Monday night blues (like Sunday night blues but it’s worse because the weekend was longer). I think this was a good strategy. I don’t feel as lost as I otherwise would. It was a good weekend but so busy. In addition to all of Saturday’s adventures, we went on a ghost tour yesterday, and spent a while in my apartment complex’s pool today. It was kind of fitting to do that both on the July 4 weekend and the Labor Day weekend. Last time it was hot and busy and sunny and this time the water was so cold I almost didn’t know if it would be fun (it was), and there was almost no one there. Kind of appropriate end of summer.

Tomorrow: back in the deep end of work, I guess. I don’t know. I have so much to do and to deal with. I can’t believe it’s September. I mean I can’t say it crept up on me exactly but I still can’t believe it. I mean spooky season alone lol. Much to consider, much to do.
