kinetic_elaborationI am home and eating a little before I shower and go to bed. Train ride could have been worse, I guess. I was hoping we would be on time but of course we weren’t. I got in about a half hour late. But I got a Lyft without any angst and I also caved and ate on the train so I wasn’t overly hungry when I got in. I had a very good weekend that has hopefully fortified me for the week ahead, because I have a lot to do.
The students are coming back tomorrow, for a couple of days of orientation and then classes on Wednesday. Next year orientation will probably be one day and the year after that, four hours. It was a full week when I was in school and that makes me feel Old. I guess it will be nice to have the place busier again, but on the other hand I have been kind of enjoying the quiet and the focus. And honestly in like 6 different ways I’m not feeling ready for fall. Except for the part where it maybe gets a little cooler; that would be nice.
