July 4: Activities

I’ve been scrolling tumblr instead of writing something to put on tumblr because I am tired. I don’t really have any thoughts, and it is late. Then the later it is and the sleepier I am, the fewer thoughts I have, so put off writing, and become sleepier, and it becomes later. A cycle.

Anyway, today was a very pleasant day overall. I had terrible nightmares this morning, like really bad, but hopefully I got them out of my system. Then spent most of the afternoon at the pool in my apartment complex with @riotsquirrrl, which was a lot of fun. We were there way longer than we thought, which was maybe not ideal, but no regrets.

In the evening, we tried to see fireworks. We did see them but it was… more adventure than experience. Kind of disappointing. There were a lot of people, a lot of cars, some degree of confusion about when and from where the fireworks were, and ultimately we didn’t really have the best view and the whole show itself was short. So, it was fine.

But the day itself was still very good. A lot of talking, and now I’m extremely tired. Happy to go to bed soon.
