Clawing my way forward through this week and it's only Monday. Work itself was pretty neutral; I was in such a daze last week that I'm just trying to reorient myself. After work, I took a nap, which wasn't on the agenda but what can you do? Cozy bed.

But I have a plan for this week and there isn't a lot of wiggle room in it so I still cleaned out my closet after dinner. I got the last of the crap out of it and then I cleaned all the surfaces and swept and so on, which was actually pretty physically exhausting But it's done now.

There's still a lot of the project left, of course. I have to put everything back In. I sorted through most of my clothes when I was taking things out but most of the rest of it I kind of just piled up--this is partly impatience and partly that some categories of things were all over the place, not easily sortable.

So I know I still have a lot left to do. Never mind the maybe stuff, and all that. I'm also not entirely sure how I want to (re)arrange it--like I went through the trouble of totally gutting it, so there's no actual reason I need to put things back where they were, if something else makes more sense. But does something else make more sense?

I'm not working on it tomorrow, and then on Wednesday I'm leaning toward taking a half-day off work to both start putting things back, and do other cleaning. That seems like a fair compromise on my time and energy, and I think it could really help.
