June 9: The Pressure

Oh, the barometric pressure of it all. Everyone complaining of headaches and fatigue. And weird things happening.

–Kids TV at the circ desk, mostly for the benefit of D’s daughter, who was there all day. Prompting a lot of nostalgia. I found out Madeline is also a TV series; it looked pretty cute.

–Found out one of the Bibles (the important one) is missing one of its signatures. (“He went to scan the part that says ‘In the beginning…’ and there was no beginning.”)

–M found some of our old discarded advances for sale at the public library. I’m pretty sure the explanation for this will never be found but I am SO curious as to how this is possible.

–Got caught in the middle of some confusion with Alma, the bindery function, and other jobs that aren’t mine, none of which really had anything to do with me, but I was the only one who had heard the confusion from all sides.

–Staff breakfast. We talked about the chicken pox vaccine and also about how in the Netflix series You Joe would have been better off NOT murdering people and instead got into the business of making extremely reliable spaces to store books and archival materials because he’s impossibly good at it.

I was very brave after work and only rested for a little while before taking a shower, and then I did some reading and had dinner. But I also developed a terrible headache, which is strongest at the front of my head and behind my eyes. Very unfortunate. This might keep me from writing tonight but upside, I will get to sleep that much earlier?
